Peyote

Lophophora williamsii var. caespitosa commonly known as peyote. This variety has a caespitose growth form and is the fastest growing among all Lophophora varieties, at a rate 3 times faster than other varieties.

Peyote has a long history of ritualistic and medicinal use by indigenous North Americans.
Wormwood

Artemisia absinthium (syn. Artemisia officinale) is commonly known as absinthe or wormwood.

A hardy herbaceous plant from the temperate regions of Eurasia. It's leaves are covered with silvery trichomes that produce oils with powerful terpenes such as thujone. These terpenes give it both a distinctive pungent smell and a mild psychedelic effect.

Wormwood is used as the main ingredient in the spirit absinthe, as well as flavouring agent in some other alcoholic drinks such as mead. It is also used as traditional medicine throughout Europe.
Dream herb

Calea ternifolia (syn. Calea zacatechichi) is commonly known as Mexican calea, Mexican dream herb or thle-pela-kano (Chontal word meaning bitter-grass).

It is a flowering plant originally from Mexico and Central America. Where the Chontal people from Oaxaca use it for it's oneiric properties, the induction of divinatory dreams. Either smoked or taken as a tea, bitter grass will induce lucid dreaming, and help you remember dreams.
Amyruca

Psychotria carthagensis, sometimes erroneously dubbed as Psychotria alba, is commonly known as Amyruca.

It is a bush from the coffee family (Rubiaceae), originally grows in the wet tropics, from South America to Mexico. It can reach a height of 5m with a spread of 2m. Amyruca leaves are used as substitute for Psychotria viridis (Chacruna) in Ayahuasca brews.
Sinicuichi

Heimia salicifolia was known by the Aztec as Sinicuichi.

This flowering plant grows up to 3m and has small yellow flowers. It's native to most of the tropical regions throughout the Western Hemisphere, specifically Texas, Mexico, El Salvador, and all areas between Colombia and Argentina - most commonly found in ditches and other wet soils.

Still used by some Mexican shamans as a tool for divination. Five quinolizidine alkaloids have been found in Heimia salicifolia. The major psychoactive alkaloid appears to be vertine (cryogenine).
Pereskiopsis spathulata

Pereskiopsis spathulata is an atypical cactus species.

Originally from tropical regions in Mexico, it features large leaves and a bush-like growing habit. It is arguably the best grafting cactus there is. It set roots easily and has a small diameter, making it perfect as rootstock for cactus seedlings. Grafting with P. spathulata gets a slow growing cactus to flower and set seed in a fraction of the usual time.
Klip dagga

Leonotis nepetifolia, commonly known as klip dagga, Christmas candlestick, or lion's ear.

A flowering plant originally from tropical Africa and southern India. It has soft, broad, triangular shaped leaves with serrated edges. Used in the traditional medicine of Trinidad, where it is know as shandilay, for the treatment of fevers, coughs and malaria. It's major alkaloid, leonurine, is found in this plant in higher concentration than in it's well-known cousin species Leonotis leonurus (wild dagga).
